Sesame Street Elmo Live is poised to be the 2008 holiday sensation!
In 1972 a little furry red creature appeared on Sesame Street. At the time, no one was really surprised to see another furry monster on Sesame Street, as there were plenty of furry, lovable monsters on Sesame Street. One day, however, the monster suddenly became extremely popular. He had a child's voice and spoke in the third person.
Baby Joke
Children everywhere wanted to dress up as this red character for Halloween more than they wanted to dress up as their favorite superhero. Who was he? He was Elmo.
And now he literally has come to life in the hit Elmo Live doll.
What's not to like about a toy that tells stories, sings, dances and tells jokes? There is no doubt that Sesame Street Elmo Live is going to be hot, hot, hot this year. Just as in previous years when Tickle Me Elmo took the world by storm, this is one toy your kids are going to beg you to add to their Christmas list.
And it's no wonder why! For children 18 months to four years, the new Elmo Live appears to really be speaking when he opens his mouth. He sits, stands, tells stories and jokes, laughs and giggles, waves his arms, and even crosses his legs! He really seems to interact with children and is, as always, as entertaining as he is educational.
In fact, his movements and mannerisms so perfectly imitate those of the TV Muppet Elmo that some very young children might think the robotic toy is literally their red fuzzy friend magically appeared from the television set to play with them in person.
Not only does Elmo Live have life-like movements, there is seemingly no end to his repertoire of things to talk about. Elmo appears as if he is actually talking and has many stories and jokes to tell along with songs and games to play.
So what exactly can Elmo Live do?
- Elmo Live dances and sings while he tells interesting and fascinating stories and jokes, plays games with you, and has other interactive tricks up his sleeve.
- Elmo Live will automatically go to "sleep" when left unattended. This is a great benefit to help save battery life.
- Elmo Live features Animatronic style servos that contol his torso and shoulders.
- Elmo Live has touch points in his tummy, back, nose and left foot!
- When your little one hugs Elmo, the doll replies, "Elmo loves you too" and "thank you!"
- When Elmo's nose is squeezed, a honking sound is heard, and Elmo stands up to sneeze.
- Elmo even blows kisses!
- When Elmo falls over, he asks, "Uh-oh! Elmo fell down. Can you help Elmo up?" Once he is picked back up, he says," Thank you. You're Elmo's best friend!"
Television's Sesame Street has been teaching young children important life lessons for nearly forty years. And Elmo Live is no exception. When your child does something nice for him, he'll say, "Thank you." And when he asks for something, he always includes, "Please" in his request.
Fisher Price has done it again... kids love the fun-factor, and parent love the fact that Elmo's so educational and interacts brilliantly with their children.
The new Elmo Live doll by Fisher Price is guaranteed to bring hours of smiles, giggles, and happiness to any young boy or girl this Christmas 2008 season.
But don't wait too long... this toy is sure to fly off the shelves!
